3. How Our Local Agent Works

Apirex AI operates through a local agent that runs directly on your machine or your own server. When you initiate a build:

• The agent scans your project files locally to understand structure and dependencies.
• It extracts only the minimal metadata needed for planning (file names, tech stack, entry points — not file contents).
• This metadata is sent to our planning engine to generate a build plan.
• All actual code generation, compilation, and execution happen on your local machine.
• Your source code contents are never transmitted to our servers.

4. What We Collect

We collect only the minimal data necessary to operate and improve the platform:

• Account information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials to manage your account and billing.
• Build metadata: Non-sensitive project structure data (file count, framework detected, build duration) to optimize our planning engine.
• Usage analytics: Feature usage, credit consumption, and error logs to improve platform stability.
• Billing information: Payment details and subscription status (handled securely by our payment processor).

5. AI Provider Data Handling

When our planning engine requires AI assistance, we use leading providers. We send only the minimal context required for planning — such as a summary of the task, tech stack, and high-level requirements. We never send your actual source code contents to any AI provider. We do not allow AI providers to train their models on any data we send.

All data that we do collect is protected using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use secure authentication, regular security audits, and strict access controls. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 compliant cloud providers.
